Barn at Evergreen Memorial Wedding

I met Chris (or as I have always known him, Skippy) at a concert on my second trip to Colorado 4.5 years before his wedding day of August 17, 2019. We met through a good mutual friend and he had just started dating this really cool girl by the name of Betsy. Little did we know that I would be shooting their wedding someday. I already knew it was going to be a special day, as two of my closest friends were in attendance to the wedding and Betsy and Skippy are just some of the coolest cats you'll meet, but arriving up to the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park was really the cherry on top. Colorado never disappoints with the non-stop mountain views but this venue was simply meant to be photographed. You never know what you're going to get with the Colorado weather but we had the perfect day. Those long summer days allowed so much daylight to photograph in and by the time the sun dipped over the mountains, everyone was ready to get their groove on to the Ben Hammond band. We danced a lot, we ate a lot, and smiled so much my face hurt by the end of the night.Thank you to these fine vendors for making the day happen, Julia WhaleyStems floral, & Cakes by Karen
