Blanton Museum

Allison & Firas got married this past June in Austin at one of the very few venues I had never had a chance to photograph before, the Blanton Museum of Art. Living in Houston this spot was the perfect combination of Houston sophistication and Austin creativity. Allison & Firas are both incredibly laid back which made it a breeze to create great photos of the two of them. During the reception there were touches of their individual cultures with Polish & Lebanese dancing. Upon Firas' insistence, after the wedding the videographer (Mark Morarie), & I met up with them for post celebration celebratory drinks at Cedar St. Now I am happy to say that the couple have recently taken on the role of parenthood as they just gave birth to their first baby boy. Thanks to my former bride Brittany from Fringe Events & Posey Floral for making everything look so beautiful on the day of.
