Tana & Michael first spotted us in New Orleans at Deirdre & Beau’s wedding. I love being able to catch up with former clients at weddings. I first officially met them at sunrise in Washington D.C. for their engagement session. Tana & Michael are the kind of people you want to be friends with as soon as you meet them. They kind of people that are the perfect balance of smart & organized and fun & easy-going. Michael even tried to drag me on the dance but with two cameras hanging from each side I tend to not be the best dance partner at weddings. I’ll just have to stick to my embarrassing solo dance attempts. Tana & Michael did an amazing job of DIYing most of the wedding details, including a program with write-ups of every single one of their 140 guests. The ceremony had the perfect beginning with Tana’s father & step-father walking her down the aisle. It ended with them opening a bottle of champagne together and drinking a glass as they signed the marriage license in front of everyone. The reception was a dance party with the best of dance moves, starting with a traditional hora, just for fun.
