Caroline started photography classes her sophomore year of high school then went to Texas State University to receive a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. For 5 years she shot film exclusively, predominantly with a Canon AE-1 (which you can find fondly tattooed on her left wrist). She learned a lot about developing, composing, & finding the artist within but they didn’t teach students how to sustain a living as a photographer in the real world. She was a 20 year old recent graduate with an art degree in 2008 without a clue as to what she was doing when a random wedding photography gig popped up through a friend of a friend. She fell in love. She has been a full time wedding photographer for over 7 years now and has shot almost 300 weddings (as a primary & second). Before she became a full time photographer she had aspirations of teaching photography in the darkroom on a college level.
