I was born and raised in the suburbs of Houston, TX before attending Texas State University to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art in 2008. I have been a full time wedding photographer for over 10 years and have photographed over 400 weddings in 10 different countries & 20 different states. My business has been featured in over 50 publications, online & in print, all over the world. My work has received numerous awards from ISPWP, Fearless Photographers, The Knot, Junebug weddings, & WPJA.

My mission statement is simple, I crave depth and authenticity in my photography and want my clients to feel comfortable in front of my camera and subsequently me. I focus my energy on real & natural moments because expressive photos that tell the story in the most engaging way. Every photo is an opportunity to evoke emotion. It is amazing that I am given the opportunity to photograph everything from intimate backyard weddings in my hometown of Houston, to one thousand person Mexico City weddings until 6am. I am drawn to photography because I want to tell everyone’s unique story.

Weddings are likely one of the very few days in your life that all of your favorite people will gather in one place. The main day to celebrate your love for one another and the joining of two families.

So I want to explain specifically what I take pride in.

The years of experience that I have allow me to not only capture amazing moments when the day is perfect but also when things don't go exactly as planned. The hair took longer than expected? No worries, we’ll make sure we get all the photos you want. It’s raining outside? Let’s have fun in it. Your mother-in-law wants 500 extended family photos that you don’t want? I’ll let her know we don’t have time now but I’m happy to help her at the reception. (Leaving you to look like the good guy.)

I want to be a good energy on the wedding day.

There shouldn’t be any added stress to an already beautifully busy day. So when you look around the room and soak in how fun and amazing the day has been so far, you can rest assured that I'm running around capturing that exact feeling.

I’m there to capture the moments in a natural way, blending into the wedding day seamlessly as to appear more like a friend rather than a random vendor.

Weddings shouldn’t be approached in a formulaic way because it is the moments in between all the scheduled events that tend to be the most lasting. I’m there for the timeline and everything in between.

I take my job very seriously. I care, more than I like to admit at times; your wedding day is a big deal to me. I want my photos to reflect how important this decision is and how meaningful the day is.

Covering every single aspect of the wedding day well is my priority. It is such a fast paced day so assuring that I provide quality work of the details, the moments with your family, the portraits, the dancing, all the way to the exit is very important to me so you can relive the day for decades to come.

TL;DR I know what I’m doing.

“Most. Amazing. Wedding photos. EVER.

THEY captured pure joy and jubilance on every single face that night (which is a bit of a task for almost 300 people). I still cry every time I look at them. I've had such a hard time putting into words how incredibly amazing they are. Guests at the wedding kept saying how they were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Photo Ninjas!

there's nobody better. Period”

Q: What is the editing process?

A: I have a tendency to take a lot of photos on the wedding, working on capturing those tiny moments of course. From there I personally select the images that will be edited (again, by me personally) for the final gallery. From those selects I choose around 75-100 images for a slideshow of my favorites to be delivered to you prior to the full gallery.

Q: Who will photograph our wedding?

A: Most of my wedding collections come with myself as well as a second photographer to get separate coverage during the getting ready, different angles during the ceremony, and assist with lighting during portraits. All second shooters I hire are fellow working professional wedding photographers. Third photographers are also available for larger weddings.

Q: Do you shoot details and family formals?

A: Absolutely. Before the wedding day I will finalize family formal list so I know who to cover and I always make sure to cover all the details that make your wedding gorgeous.

Q: Do you photograph elopements?

A: Of course! Depending on availability and the number of hours you have set aside for photography, I have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements. I love the intimate setting created between a couple as they exchange vows in an alternative fashion.

Q: We’re having a destination wedding. Do you travel?

A: Yes! I love destination weddings and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world shooting weddings. Send me more information on your travel plans, and I will create a custom wedding collection to suit your needs. I handle all the bookings for travel so you do not have to worry about it.

Q: Can we chat before hand?

A: Absolutely. I’d love to set up a time in person but given my chaotic travel schedule, I often resort to Skype or Google hangout.

Q: What equipment do you use?

A: I always carry 2 Canon full frame cameras, a 50 mm lens, 28 mm lens, 35 mm lens, 85 mm lens, & 70-200 mm lens, among other items for lighting.

Q: But seriously, how do you handle non-photogenic people?

A: I cannot tell you how often I hear this! I work very hard to keep my clients distracted from the fact that they’re being photographed by blending into the wedding day and giving my clients something to do to give the portraits a more candid feel.

Q: Will we get a print release to the photos?

A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.

A: To reserve your wedding date I require a non-refundable retainer of $1500 & a signed contract which can all be done online once I send over a booking proposal. 50% of the remaining balance is due 3 months before the wedding and the final payment is due 3 weeks before the wedding date.
