Cambridge, England Engagement | Tera + David

We first met Tera & David via a Google+ hangout, he was living in San Francisco & she was studying for a Masters in Archeology at Trinity College in Cambridge, UK. They met during an overlapping year at Rice University in Houston, Texas but it wasn't until David got dispatched to London for work that their paths crossed again. I'm sure Tera impressed him with her vast knowledge of Cambridge history as she did with us.The history in this small university town is astonishing. Great scientific minds like Isaac Newton & Stephen Hawkings made great discoveries in this town. When David mentioned that he was now living in Cambridge and wanted us to come shoot their destination engagement session there we were trilled to embark on that journey. The day of the shoot was simply perfect weather. The rainy clouds parted and the sun came out just long enough to get everyone nice and toasty.After shooting on the grounds of Trinity College (with the porters watching over our every move) we made our way through the streets of Cambridge with our personal tour guide (Tera) navigating. Then right at sunset the rain came out so we ducked into a nearby pub for some pims and beers. But that didn't stop us from shooting... some of our favorite shots came after dusk in the rain. We had such a great time with Tera & David and I can not wait for their up coming wedding in Austin.While we were in the UK we also decided to take a small trip over to Iceland for our very own engagement session.
