New York, NY Engagement | Caitlin + Mike

This was our second time to be shooting engagement photos in New York City where the bride and groom were getting married in Austin. Caitlin & Mike's upcoming wedding at Mansion on Judges hill is one that we are really looking forward to! They have both lived in NYC for many years so they wanted to encapsulate that part of their life in the engagement photos. We flew in only a week before super storm Sandy was set to hit mainland, little did we know New York City would be right in the crosshairs. Despite the impending doom, the weather leading up to it was quite pleasant and we were able to catch the tail end of the fall colors. We met at Grand Central station where we attempted to navigate the crowds and get some images that showed off the architecture and the hustle and bustle of city life. Then we grabbed a cab and headed to Central Park where the trees were beaming with color and the local street artist were out in abundance. After the shoot we headed to a near by restaurant to enjoy the great food the NYC has to offer.
