Austin Wedding | Rachel + Dayton

It's always nice when we have the opportunity to shoot a wedding in a new venue. We get a fresh perspective on shooting and we get to have a blank canvas to work with! Rachel & Dayton had their wedding in the hill country at the new Ma Maison wedding venue. Such a beautiful backdrop for their summer wedding. One of my favorite moments was when they exchanged love letters & gifts before the ceremony around the corner. Dayton was so nervous he asked Caroline to take off her mirrored sunglass so he would not accidentally see her as she approached. It was such a sweet moment. Ma Maison also turned out to be a fantastic space for a fun reception complete with a live band and a hopping dance floor! Our favorite shot from the reception was during the first dances where were were able to showcase the beautiful open spaces and elegant chandeliers. The dance party continued into the night ending with a sparkler exit and a vintage car getaway.
