St Lucia Wedding | Katie + Bret

Katie, Bret, & I first met via skype while I was in Guatemala for another wedding last August. They've been together since high school, attending prom together even, and continued to grow together over the years. I'm convinced that the both of them are saints based on their careers, Katie works with children and Bret hosts a morning radio show in Atlanta. They decided to have a small wedding of their favorites on the beautiful Caribbean island of St Lucia. Bret's MC friends did an amazing job getting every single person there on the dance floor. Under the full moon everyone danced the night away. The next afternoon, I met Katie & Bret at the hotel to pick them up to a location I had scouted out. They had no idea where we were going and I simple asked them to trust me :). I ended up discovering an old sugar mill off the east coast of the island and the groundskeeper was willing to let us in despite it being closed on Sundays. This was a true testament to the fact that the St Lucian people are among the nicest I have ever met. So it was a fitting place for two of the nicest people to tie the knot on an island full of the nicest people.
