Orlando, FL Indian Wedding | Punya + Ravi

Punya & Ravi first came to us over a year in advance for their wedding festivities. They had a lot to plan for a 3 day affair with around 300 in attendance, most of it being planned from afar in Texas. Not to mention they also made their move to Los Angeles soon after the wedding! Punya & Ravi have had one crazy year. The events started on a Friday afternoon at Punya's family home and ended in the wee hours of Monday morning at the Hilton Hotel Bonnet Creek in Orlando, FL. It was 3 solid days of events full of tradition, delicious food, and some of the best dancing I've seen as many of their friends used to dance for their university. I've secretly always wanted to be invited to an Indian celebration so I could wear a beautiful salwer kameez like I see at so many of the Indian events I photograph. I mentioned this to one of Punya's aunts and she insisted that I pick a few (3!) out for the various events over the weekend. I could definitely get used to shooting in these :) [additional photos by Snap studiobooth at the end] As always, it has been a blast getting to know people from all over who practice different traditions and who are as kind, intelligent, & fun as Punya & Ravi.
