Keystone, CO Wedding | Kira + Andrew
Kira, Andrew, & I had our first skype meeting while I was sitting next to the Washington Monument one cold fall evening after a D.C. engagement session. Kira is a fellow photographer in Denver who found me through the brilliant Fearless photographers community. It is an incredible honor to be chosen to photograph another photographer's wedding but not without the tremendous amount of pressure! Although the couple now live in Colorado, with Kira being from New Jersey and Andrew from Wisconsin, it was destination wedding for most of their wedding guests. We started the day at the bottom of Keystone mountain then the ceremony was a 10 minute gondola ride up to a beautiful overlook where many bikers, in the summer, start the treks down the mountain. The reception was held at the Timber Lodge, one more gondola up, with an elevation of 11,660 feet! It was a perfect day, as it often is in the mountains during the summer and although the nights can get chilly, with how much this wedding danced their butts off, it was never an issue. 2017 is certain to be an exciting year with even more Colorado weddings in my future. Huge thanks to Kira for having us to visit Keystone for the first time!
