From the first e-mail Alex sent me, I knew we were going to be a good fit. Her words melted and humbled me so much that I'll have to throw in a quote for good measure: "Something that is very important to us is having a photographer who isn't afraid to take risky photos and break the barrier of traditional wedding photography." Crested Butte also happens to hold a special place in my heart since it was the first mountain town I visited in Colorado and I quickly fell in love with the small town. I walked into Alex's prep room greeted by the nicest group of girls all eager to pour me my own mimosa. Alex & Mark had a first look before their ceremony overlooking the mountains. It's hard to beat those mountain summer sunsets, so we wandered the property taking photos with their pup, Zema. I ended the night hanging out with them and few of their crew next to the best of fire pits.
