Helicopter to the Valley of Fire Wedding

It's always a good start to an inquiry when the bride is a sister of a former client. Alex's sister got married in Tucson a few years ago which was another incredibly beautiful event to be a part of. To be honest, when Michael told me the ceremony site would only be accessible for 20 guests via helicopter I had no idea what I was getting into. I didn't do much research prior to the day of and was simply along for the ride. On the way to the site, I was in the front with the pilot and Alex and her two sisters were in the back. I could see tiny Michael, some of both of their family, and two more helicopters on the edge from way above, like little ants. The flight was overwhelmingly emotional to be approaching a wedding ceremony in, for lack of a better term, the most epic of ways. I helped the groom and officiant assemble in the best spot for lighting and Alex's dad helped her out of the helicopter to give her away. After portraits and a champagne toast we took a sunset ride back over the Las Vegas strip, oddly enough, it happened to be earth hour at that exact time, so all of major neon lights were shut off to conserve energy. I think we were all beyond elated on the limo ride back to the venue to meet up with their friends. My second shooter, Deleigh, was able to catch all the cocktail hour fun with showgirls, magicians, and fire dancers at the 2810. Oh, and of course Michael had to have a shot block too. Here's to a couple with one hell of an imagination to come up with all these amazing ideas for their wedding. And of course props to the planner that helped make it happen, the lil things events.
