NBA point guard for the Spurs marries his college sweetheart in downtown Denver at the top of the grand Hyatt hotel. Their style has warm and muted colors with modern elegant design. With 270 people in attendance, there was a lot going on from the bouncy house to a local ice cream cart. I met up with Hannah & Derrick at middle point between Austin & San Antonio, which happened to be the town of my alma mater (San Marcos). We found a basketball court and park that we could have to ourselves. They were effortless to photograph as it was just so clear how silly in love they are. This energy carried over to the wedding but with an extra 268 other people cheering on their love. They had their ceremony at the Holy Ghost Catholic church in downtown Denver which is conveniently located just down the street from my Denver home. Afterwards we took some time to photograph their wedding party around town, finding a few uniquely Denver spots along the way. The reception was held at the Pinnacle Club located at the top of the Grand Hyatt hotel, overlooking the city and mountains with 360 views. I had such a blast photographing the two of them as the made my job crazy easy and just simply, fun. I can't wait to watch Derrick on the big screen playing basketball and knowing that Hannah is right by his side rooting him on from the front row. Huge thanks to the vendors that made it all happen : Milk Glass Productions, Jennie Lou Art, Newberry Brothers, Eclectic Hive, Alluring Canvas Makeup, & Sweet Zion Paperie
