The Cathedral ATX

The Cathedral is a former Baptist church located on the East side of Austin. The new design has kept the integrity and history of the church intact. The space serves a variety of purposes including a coworking space, music venue for intimate concerts, an art gallery with a focus on women artists, and of course, a wedding venue. I stopped by to check the space out since it is a short 3 blocks from where I live and I have to admit that I am very excited to such a fun and artistic spot so close to me. The space is equipped with tables and chairs for up to 50 people but can host a sit down event of up to 90 guests. Standing room events can host up to 125. There is a kitchen downstairs as well as a conference room that is a perfect getting ready spot.
