Austin Wedding | Caitlin + Mike

You might remember Caitlin & Mike from their New York Engagement session we shot a year ago. We met Caitlin about a year and a half before her wedding date and immediately hit it off with her. Even though Mike told us he was not that great in front of the camera, we were told by the family that we captured one of the best photos of him! Needless to say, the smiles came naturally on the wedding day so he didn't have to try so hard. :) Their wedding was the first one to be held at the newly renovated Hotel Ella (formerly Mansion at Judges Hill) in downtown Austin. The ceremony was held on the grand staircase off the side of the building and the reception was on the front lawn. The scotch bar was flowing all night and the cigar bar was a big hit! One of our favorites photos is of Caitlin & Mike puff'n on a cigar after a much needed break from the dance floor.
