Austin Wedding | Sarah + Alok

Sarah & Alok are such a sweet couple. They actually live in Cleveland, Ohio but they fell in love with the idea of having a destination wedding in Austin so all their friends and family could enjoy this amazing city. Mercury Hall was the perfect setting for their relaxed yet elegant wedding which was a beautiful blend of Indian and American cultures. Becky from Pearl Events worked her magic again to bring details of both family's together in perfect harmony with the help of Stems Floral. The brides dress design was selected at Sahil Boutique in Chicago then made in India. Since they were having an Indian-American wedding, she wanted a white or ivory gown, the traditional Indian bridal color is red, but chose to incorporate American tradition with a white gown. The gold detailing complimented the wedding color scheme perfectly. True to Austin style the food was catered by a local favorite food truck, East Side Kings and instead of a cake, they had a bunch of personal pies made by Tiny Pies. The live band, Buzz and the Blue Cats, really set the tone for the evening and brought a unique vibe to the evening.
