Noordwijk, The Netherlands Wedding

This post may be a little late but it is at least appropriate in the fact that it has almost been a year, to the date, since I shot this wedding along side Studio Damon who is based in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. My obsession with the Netherlands stemmed from my Dutch family and continued after falling in love with Amsterdam only after an overnight layover coming from Africa; which then lead to two more trips in 2014.  When I was presented with the opportunity to second shoot for Damon, it was one I could not pass up! I had a blast working on what little Dutch I know and experiencing a wedding through a different culture's eyes. This couple certainly made their wedding their own with an actor giving a fake speech to marry them before the real officiant came out, the rings were delivered via the man in an ostrich costume, and a game of musical chairs was played so the winners could do 'the first dance'.~Caroline
