Bastrop, TX Wedding | Naseem + Ricky

When I rolled up to Naseem & Ricky's sangeet the day before the wedding, I was greeted with the biggest of hugs from Ricky's mother, Noreen. Five years, four months, & 2 days prior I photographed Ricky's sister's wedding in Puerto Rico and to this day, they treat me like a member of the family. They held their wedding at Naseem's family ranch in Bastrop and hosted a sangeet at my favorite Austin Indian restaurant g'raj mahal. The wedding incorporated Persian traditions including a sofreh aghd and the cake knife dance. It was a truly beautiful reception just far enough out in the country to not receive cell service. There might not be anymore Nainani sibling weddings to shoot anymore but I know that this family hasn't seen the last of me ;)
